Rea Spirometer lung training
The Rea Incentive Spirometer (3 balls) is used to restore the breathing patterns and function of the lungs, which are usually disrupted by lung surgery, disease or senile conditions. It helps to take slow, deep breaths that relieve anxiety and stress, and it also prepares the lungs for yoga practice.

Usage:
1. If possible, sit upright, in a comfortable position, on the edge of a chair or bed.
2. Hold the stimulus spirometer upright.
3. Exhale normally, place the mouthpiece in your mouth and close your lips around it.
4. Inhale slowly and deeply through your mouth as if you were sucking through a straw.
5. Exhale slowly through the nose while removing the mouthpiece from the lips.
6. After each deep breath, relax and breathe normally.
7. Repeat this process as directed by your physical therapist or doctor, usually 10-15 times. Take your time. Take a few normal breaths between your dep breaths.
8. When you have completed your series of deep breaths, it is important to inhale, then exhale and cough.
9. Use the incentive spirometer every 2 hours when you are awake and when you wake up during the night.
10. The mouthpiece can be disinfected with a swab or with an alcohol swab.
Storage: It should be stored indoors with normal temperature, corresponding humidity should not exceed 80%, no corrosive gases, cool, dry, well ventilated and clean.
It is primarily used for people suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), but in fact, respiratory rehabilitation can include many cases, such as in patients with COVID-19 who have developed lung complications.
The spirometer is a tool that allows optimizing the patient's physical condition, restoring various functions and improving a person's quality of life.
