Omega 3 and fatty acids

OstroVit Omega 3-6-9 - a source of valuable unsaturated fatty acids Omega 3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids that cannot be synthesized in the human body, so they must be supplied to the body with daily food or, if necessary, as food supplements. The OstroVit formulation uses both alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is mainly found in flaxseed oil, and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which are compounds mainly derived from oily marine fish. Omega 6 fatty acids are compounds belonging to the group of essential fatty acids that are part of cell membranes. OstroVit Omega 3-6-9 dietary supplement uses linoleic acid (LA) derived from sunflower oil and flaxseed, which can also be found in other vegetable oils, such as grapeseed oil. Omega 9 fatty acids are unsaturated fats whose representative (used in the OstroVit product) is oleic acid (OA). The main dietary source of the compound is olive oil, although oleic acid is also found in canola oil, hazelnut oil, sunflower seed oil, and linseed oil. Vitamin E is a group of organic chemical compounds classified as fat-soluble vitamins, of which the D-alpha-tocopherol used in the preparation shows the greatest biological activity. It is a compound that is stored in the human body mainly in adipose tissue and also in the adrenal glands. In food, however, it is mainly found in vegetable oils, nuts and seeds.
