PROIRON barbell 24kg is a round free weight with a flat base and curved handle. It looks like a cannonball with a handle or a teapot without a nose tip, hence the name “kettlebell” in English. In Russia it is called "girya" (гиря in Russian). Real sledgehammers are made of either cast iron or steel.
Unlike a dumbbell, the handrail extends beyond the center of gravity. Hundreds of bombs can be rocked, thrown, juggled, pushed, held, moved and manipulated in hundreds of different ways. Movements you need to know!
- The swing
Performance: Stand with your knees slightly bent and grasp the handgun with both hands. Hold the bomb upright with your hands straight.
Check: Keep your head up and your back straight; move the position by throwing the handgun backwards so that the weight is on the hips.
- Windmill
Performance: Push the weight up with one hand. Push your hips back. Keep the hind leg straight from the knee and try to keep most of the weight on that leg. With your back straight, lower your upper body towards the floor (still holding your hand holding the bomb). Hold your chest up and look at the bombshell. Continue to descend and turn forward.
- Clean (breast augmentation)
Performance: Grab the handgun with one hand and start swinging it upwards between your thighs. As the weight moves up, bend your arm counterclockwise, just as you do biceps training. If the weight is horizontal, pull it up to the right shoulder.
- Snatch
Performance: Bend your legs as you squat. Move the handrail between the knees between your knees in the starting position. Push it up straight from there.
