HOW DOES ELECTROSTIMULATION WORK?

In the process of electrical stimulation, electrical impulses transmitted by nerve fiber electrodes are stimulated
through. The electrical impulses produced by Compex electrical stimulators are of high quality, safe,
comfortable and effective and stimulate different types of nerve fibers:
1. Stimulation of motor nerves, which has the task of increasing muscle resistance,
called electrical muscle stimulation (EMS).
2. Stimulation of certain types of sensitive nerve fibers helps to achieve an analgesic effect or pain
decrease.

MOTOR NERVE STIMULATION (EMS)

Normally, the brain sends a signal to the muscles to contract, which is then sent as a command to the nerve fibers
further in the form of an electrical pulse. This signal is thus transmitted to the muscle fibers, which contract.
The principle of electrical stimulation is to reproduce this process of contraction by being in it
involved. The stimulator sends an irritating electrical impulse to the nerve fiber. This irritation is transmitted to the muscle fibers, which
the result is a mechanical response (= jerk). This is the basis of the work of muscle contraction. Muscle
the process of contraction is identical to the muscle activity controlled by the brain. In other words,
the muscle does not matter whether the command is given by the brain or the stimulator.
Program settings (number of pulses per second, contraction duration, rest time, total program

SENSORY NERVE STIMULATION

By stimulating other types of sensory fibers, the production of endorphins increases and therefore decreases
pain sensation. In stimulation programs, electrical stimulation can be used in acute or
in the treatment of chronic localized but also muscle pain.

HOW DOES TECHNOLOGY WORK (MUSCLE INTELLIGENCE)?

MI-SCAN
Immediately before the start of the work session, the MI-scan function probes the selected muscle group and automatically aligns
stimulator settings to suit the sensitivity of this part of the body, depending on your physiology.
This function is based on the results of a short test performed at the beginning of the program.
At the end of the test, the strength must be increased to start the program.
MI-TENS
The MI-TENS function reduces unwanted muscle contractions in a painful area.
Each increase in strength is accompanied by a test phase and, once the muscle contraction is determined, the
command stimulation strength.
This feature is only available in TENS, Epicondylitis, and Tendinitis.
MI-RANGE
The MI-RANGE function allows the user to select the ideal stimulation strength for rehabilitation, massage,
capillarization and even muscle pain programs.
At the beginning of the program, the device requires the user to increase the intensity of the stimulation. In the process, it analyzes
device each stimulated muscle response, deriving the optimal level. As soon as the optimal level in the muscle is
achieved, the associated channel is automatically removed and the intensity of stimulation can no longer be increased. Check
to restore, simply re-select the associated channel and increase or decrease the stimulation intensity.

MI-AUTORANGE
The MI-auto feature function serves the same purpose, only everything happens automatically.
At the beginning of the program, one keystroke helps the top button on the function keypad to launch
measuring the intensity of stimulation to an ideal level. Pressing the lower button cancels the MI function
and returns to the user's manual action.

MI-ACTION
The MI activity feature allows electrically induced muscles to be initiated through conscious activity
contractions. In this way, muscle contraction is completely controlled, training becomes more comfortable,
more comprehensive and complete.
