The "jumper's knee" or patellar tendonintis is one of the most common injuries to the knee, which can be caused by a single trauma or constant muscle strain that results in inflammation. The most common injuries are in jumping athletes: jumpers, volleyball, basketball. In case of overload, micro-tears form in the tendon and the tendon thickens. The chronic jumper's knee is called patellar tendinitis. The most common symptom is pain at the moment of repulsion. Tendonitis is easy to detect directly by touching the tendon or straining the muscle. The tendon is painful to the touch and crunches.
The same methods are usually used to treat inflammation: Rest NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) Cold Stretches (eccentric stretches are used to treat patellar tendinosis)

Guide on how to install a patella support bandage:
1) First turn the base bar 5-6 turns around the knee. Make sure that the tape is slightly stretched and under tension.
2) Tear off the tape and then roll it from the bottom up so that there is an annular support around the knee.
This solution provides adequate support for the patella tendon and is comfortable to wear throughout the day, as well as during various trainings or competitions.

This solution does not provide complete support for the knee tendon but reduces the tension in the injured patella tendon, thereby reducing pain and helping the injury to recover faster. The effect of ligaments in the treatment of a jumper's knee has not been scientifically confirmed, but in a very large percentage of cases it is the easiest way to relieve the load on an overloaded knee while continuing to exercise, and in many cases is very effective and leads to complete recovery.
