How electrical stimulation works
In the process of electrostimulation, nerve fibers are stimulated by electrical impulses transmitted by electrodes. The electrical impulses produced by Compex electrical stimulators are of high quality, safe, comfortable and effective and stimulate different types of nerve fibers:
- Stimulation of the motor nerves, which is responsible for increasing muscle resistance, is called electrical muscle stimulation (EMS).
- Stimulation of certain types of sensitive nerve fibers helps to achieve an analgesic effect or a reduction in pain.
